Feature 758: miniature clay balls in the center of Building 3

Feature 758, just south of oven Feature 646 and dating to the same Phase B3.2, is a basin filled with miniature clay balls, that were used in the preparation of food
Cultural Narrative:

Feature 758 is a unique feature just south of the oven F.646 comprising 785 Miniature Clay Balls arranged on a rectangular white plaster base. The clay balls were covered by similar white plaster to that of their base. The clay balls are fragile and unfired and were originally placed in the wet clay in three layers. This feature is closely associated with the oven F.646, abutting it, but it was not affected by the latter's heat.
